(More customer reviews)We purchased this product for agricultural use.We needed a solid GPS unit with Windows Mobile OS so we could use third party software.We opted to purchase the unit with pre-installed mapping software thinking it would include some specific ag features such as grid creation.Unfortunately, the included software does not have the grid capability, but you can customize a variety of layers to indicate a wide range of point on the map.Not sure if it was worth the extra $$ for the software since the desktop version is extremely limited on functionality.The GPS unit in itself is outstanding, with precision reaching sub-meter accuracy at times.Our avg accuracy was 1.5m.The screen is a bit small, but it is the average size for the market.I recommend using Lithium batteries for longer jobs.This is a professional grade product aimed for area measurements, would not recommend for geocaching or vehicle navigation.
