(More customer reviews)We bought this player 3 years ago for a trip to Hawaii, and it has become indispensable.The picture is clear, the sound is good, the hook-ups are easy to use if you want to use it with another device, and most of all -- it is incredibly durable.My kids have dropped it, gotten food and sand into it, and carted it with them on nearly every trip our family has made--and it still works well!There are not many electronic devices that you can give to a four year old to use without worrying about its survival, but this has proved to be one of them.After years of continuous use, we are replacing it because the screen support finally gave out and it has to be propped open, but even so the player still works.The carrying case is very handy and has plenty of room.The DVDs do sometimes make a grinding noise when loading, but it doesn't affect the operation of the player.Very good product!
