(More customer reviews)I have recent bought this earphone since I work late and do not want to wake up others around the house with regular speakers. I have other earphones, but was bothered by the comfort level after longer usage (too hot or too annoying inside the ear).
These earphones are surprising comfortable for long use and the sound is amazing~!! I mainly use it for classical and instrumental music and each sound is clearly separated without distortions, not to mention the sense of sound space is very deep. I found myself often use it to just relax and enjoy my favorite music in the morning before I start the day (my wife is hooked on it too).
The earphone comes with a pair of foam sleeves to cover the metal tubes which added a lot more comfort so the metal don't touch your skin.
I would not recommend these for wearing outside or for sports since it doesn't shield out noise and the others can hear your music as well, even though it is faint. I don't think this earphone was ever designed for outside use. It is most likely designed for Japan where many people lives in small apartments and regular speaker sound can travel too easily.
If you work from home and need something comfortable with great sound, I would strongly recommend this product. Especially after the price drop ($236 when I got it at Amazon).
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
