(More customer reviews)I just received shipment of this item and it wasn't as expected.I guess I felt a little bit misled from the description.The base unit/charger I received is not the primary base unit which would ordinarily would come with this Plantronics SupraPlus wireless headset, but is instead only a backup charger, so it has no modular female Telephone Handset Jack, Handset Lifter Jack, or Telephone Cord Jack.YOU CANNOT CONNECT THIS PARTICULAR BASE UNIT TO A WIRED TELEPHONE OR PHONE JACK.I ended up having to return the Plantronics HL10 Handset Lifter I had also ordered because it simply wouldn't work with this item.There is only one way to get this headset to work:you must possess or acquire a DECT cordless telephone which is compliant with the GAP specification.You should then be able to set the base unit on your DECT cordless phone to transmit dialtone to this headset.I believe the seller should include the necessity for this in their description.
