(More customer reviews)I purchased these so that I could hear my surroundings while driving. You can hear your surroundings really well. Everything coming from the headphones sounds 'muffled'. This is fine for me since I only listen to podcasts and short stories (where people are only speaking) while I drive. I don't like using them to listen to music though. The quality is not very good. Also, I have to put the volume all the way up to the highest level to hear the podcasts etc. It is not a problem for me, but wanted others to know.
