New Pair TAN Zipper Headrest with 7" DVD USB SD VIDEO Monitors Wireless Game Car Package Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The DVD players are sturdy and offer dozens of functions not found on OEM systems. The guts of the DVD players are clearly marked Sony. The tan head rests are well constructed and they match the leather in our Navigator. They play DVD-Rs and Video CDs with no issues.Movies can also be watched from a thumb drive or an SD card in several different digital formats. Some MP4s will play, others won't. The head phones have two channels and work perfectly with either DVD player.Video quality is surprisingly good, especially after changing the default setting of PAL to NTSC.Basic functions are on the front of the DVD player, but advanced functions require you use the remote control. The 32 BIT games are for children over 10.The 8 BIT games (optional) are old 1970-1980s arcade favorites and the younger kids love them.

Installation was easy taking about 90 minutes to do a professional level job.The pre-installed Power and Video/Audio-Out line runs down one post of the head rest while the Video/Audio-In line runs down the other post. The cables dropped through the back of the seat and were easily routed down the side of the seat and beneath the center console (comepletely out of sight).I removed the back panel of the center console where I connected the Video/Audio cables and tapped off of a cigarette lighter power cable for the 12VDC.The cables are very long giving you all kinds of cable routing options.End result was an OEM style DVD system that costs $1000 less.

C03U Recording/ Podcasting Pak Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This USB microphone kit has worked well for me. I've recorded some hip hop and spoken-word tracks and the sound quality it produces when plugged into my laptop sounds like near-studio quality. Of course for the $150 or $200 you're spending, you'll not get the same quality you'll get with a $4,000 mic, but this is the best reasonably-priced mic I found after researching all the mics out there that go directly into a computer for easy digital recording. It took me a little while to get the input volume level right on my computer, but once I did, I've been recording mainly with Audacity because the program that comes in the pack is just too confusing.

I'd recommend getting the whole pack, because you'll end up spending more money if you buy each of the items that come with the pack individually. Plus, you get a nice carrying case, although the case is about the size of a small suitcase and does not fit into my backpack. So when I'm traveling on bike to record at a friend's house, I can only fit the mic and USB cable with my laptop in my backpack, and not the mic stand and mic stabilizer and case. I'd also recommend buying a cheap pop filter if you're recording vocals with this mic.

But overall, this C03U mic, made out of solid cast metal and feels like a quality product, does indeed produce a quality sound for recording vocals that I did not get with the Olympus mics I used earlier for digital recordings. I'd recommend it.

RCA S2501 Jet Stream Series 1GB Sport MP3 Player with Wireless Headphones Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Overall, I am happy with my purchase, even if there are a couple of issues. The sound is good, although when I use it at the gym, I need to have the volume all the way up in order to drown out the gym music.I think that's because the ear buds on the wireless headphones don't fit properly in my ears. They are a littl big.But outside of the gym, walking for example, I don't need the volume up nearly that high.

The largest fault I have with this product is the charger for the wireless headphones. They don't work all that well, in that the connection is touchy and it takes a few minutes for me to be sure they are charging and quite often the charge is not complete. I'm considering having the wireless charger replaced if possible...

The reception with the wireless headphones is good, although I've experienced some static when I have the unit in my pocket at the gym, and I am riding the recumbent bike. When I am lifting weights though, I experience no issues with reception with it in my pocket. And also when walking outside, there is perfect reception.

The battery life on the unit itself is fantastic.I can use it for three weeks without having to recharge it (using it only about an hour or two a day).

If you are a music fanatic, the storage is probably small for most people. For me it is perfect...I have about 200 songs on there plus two hour long podcasts.

My biggest frustration is the FF or RW function, which may be present on other MP3 players as well. If I am 30 minutes into a podcast for example and missed something, I need to be very careful how I rewind or it will go all the way back to the beginning and the only way I know to get it back to where I was is to just hold the Forward button down, which takes quite a while to FF back to the place where I was.

I don't have any experience with any other MP3 players, as this is my first one. But I wanted it for the wireless functionality and I am overall very happy with it's performance. Even with the issues I stated above, had I been able to try this before purchasing, I still would have purchased this unit.
